CSI-JMI is proud to present a workshop on Android OS based Application Development. It is an educational and technical program in which students will learn the basics of mobile application development. They will be certified for their participation.

1. All coordinators and volunteers have to give their written consent to Karanjeet Singh (CS, 2nd Year) (9654707845) on TUESDAY (21st February 2012).

2. Any coordinator/volunteer who isn't a member of CSIJMI should also contact Karanjeet Singh and become a member as soon as possible.

Come and Be a Part of a Fabulous Fiesta!

In view of its upcoming annual festival, AlgoRhythm 2012, CSI-JMI invites all the students to come up with their own events which they wish to see organized during the fest. Now is the time to express your ideas and be a part of this extravaganza. Those interested must submit their ideas and event proposals in the following format:

--Name(s) of the student(s) submitting the proposal
--Contact details (Phone number, email ID and class)
Name and type of the event
Format (Must include no. of rounds, event rules in a detailed manner)

WORKSHOP ON ANDROID OS APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT

On the 24th and the 25th of September, a 2-day workshop on “Android OS based Application Development” was held in the Faculty of engineering and technology. The session was organised by the Computer Society of India Student Chapter in collaboration with ARK Technosolutions, a Mumbai based company which imparts training to professionals and students in the fields of mobile application development, robotics etcetera. The official recharge partner of the session was Freecharge.

An evening full of colors :)

CSI JMI successfully organised its first cultural activity of the new academic session, a “FACE PAINTING” contest, coordinated by Halima Akhtar and Aashisha Chakraborty. It saw an active participation of 70 students from all over the university. The students showcased their innovative talent with a theme of their choice. It began at 11: 45am on 12th August. The students were provided with colours and other accessories.
